Convert the free arm of your Husqvarna Viking Sewing Machine to an extended flat bed so you can sew large projects and quilt easily. 1. Slide the white guide to the left. Slide the table onto the free arm of the machine with the small peg on the underside of the back edge of the table in the slot on the back of Designer. The white guide is used for wide seam allowances and hems. The distance from the left and right of the needle is displayed in inches and cm in the windows on the guide. 2. Touch Sensor Foot Lift to the extra lift position and slide the guide from left to right to adjust it. 3. Place the edge of the fabric against the guide as you sew. 4. Slide the guide all the way to the right and lift to remove it. To sew stitches in perfect circles up to 20? (52 cm) in diameter, select any favorite stitch, and snap on recommended presser foot. 1. Mark a dot in the center of the area to be circle stitched and place stabilizer under the fabric. 2. Place a thumb tack or push pin at the mark on the fabric and push it into the selected circle size hole on the table. 3. Lower the presser foot and sew. The fabric will feed in a circle around the thumb tack. To replace the white guide place it at the right edge of the table and slide to the left.
